Hey this was fun! I liked the duo mechanic, and the movement felt pretty tight. Combat with enemies was alright, but it did feel a bit difficult to avoid hits at times. I like that the melee is stronger than the projectile attack, as it gives a bit of risk/reward when fighting enemies, though the projectile attack can feel a bit too weak against the stronger enemies. It ends up being a lot more effective to just melee the stronger enemies as it'll reduce the amount of projectiles they'll shoot at you in the long run.

The boss was pretty darn cool, it's just a bit hard compared to the level itself. It also took a lot of hits to defeat, but it did give me incentive to play more aggressively in order to kill it before it killed me. I definitely relied more on melee than projectiles in that fight.

I used the high-jump a lot during the boss to avoid certain attacks and maximize damage output, but I'd slip up now and then 'cause it can be a bit clunky (at least for me) pulling off the high-jump with keyboard controls, especially in a pinch. It'd probably be a lot more natural with a controller, or maybe if I used the Type B keyboard controls instead?

But anyway, overall great and a lot of potential!
